HH Front of House Assistant

Job Title: Part-Time Front of House Team Member
Location: Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park
Hours: Part-Time (Approximately 2–3 days per week, between 9:30am – 5:00pm depending on time of year)

About the Role
Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is a friendly, family-focused children’s farm attraction dedicated to creating memorable days out for our visitors. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Front of House Team Member to join our café team.

This is a varied, fast paced role which is hands-on where you will be the face of our food and drink service, helping create a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable environment for families visiting the farm. 

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving hot drinks including tea, coffee, and other beverages
• Serving cakes, snacks, and refreshments to customers
• Serving hot food from our counter safely and efficiently
• Clearing customer tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining area
• Assisting with washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout front of house areas
• Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Providing friendly, helpful, and professional customer service at all times

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Confidence when dealing with customers in a busy environment
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude
• Previous café, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided

Working Hours

• Approximately 2–3 days per week
• Shifts between 9:30am and 5:00pm, depending on the time of year
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day
• Additional hours available during school holidays
• Flexibility to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
