We are currently seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team to provide support during the evening.  This role is ideal for someone who may only be able to work a shorter shift assisting our residents settle comfortably for the night.  If you are a compassionate individual who values teamwork and making a difference, we want to hear from you!

Location: Osbern Manor, 26-28 Hoath Lane, Wigmore, Gillingham ME8 0SW

Hours: 14 hours per week

Pay: £13.20 per hour 

Contract: Part-time

Shift: Evenings - 7pm-11pm (2 on/2 off shift pattern including weekends)

 What you will be doing:

  • Providing excellent care and support to our residents during the evening.
  • Assisting residents with getting ready for bed.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Helping with supper, drinks and light refreshments.
  • Actively participating in various training and up-skilling sessions.
  • Working closely with team members and management team.

 What you need:

  • A can-do attitude.
  • Be a compassionate and caring person.
  • Be a true team player.
  • Have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker – this is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.
  • Be reliable and able to work evening hours.
