The Research Assistant will work on a study titled “Assessing risk and protective factors for cardiovascular health in autistic adults: a feasibility study using wearable technology” and funded through the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science Interdisciplinary Fund. This position focuses on using wearable technology, sleep diary and qualitative focus group data collection methods to investigate the feasibility of using wrist-worn accelerometers for examining risk and protective factors for cardiovascular health in autistic adults. The researcher will work with Dr Ewelina Rydzewska who will lead this study at the University of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for key aspects of the research, including participant recruitment, data collection and analysis. The researcher will also prepare findings for publication and other outputs.

This post is part time (7 hours per week).

The post-holder will be appointable up to the third point of the grade due to budgetary restrictions (£36,636).
