Personal Care Assistant

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Local community/home-based
Hours: 10.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for occasional weekends)
Pay: 12.71 per hour

About the Role:
A reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant is required to support a 51-year-old lady with daily living tasks in her home and within the community. This is a rewarding role suited to someone who is patient, respectful, and attentive to individual needs.

Duties will include:

• Supporting with personal care, including showering and washing
• Preparing and batch cooking meals for freezing
• Emptying and cleaning a commode
• Assisting with accessing the community (appointments, outings, etc.)

Requirements:

• Female applicants only (due to personal care requirements)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential) this is due to the area being Liverton mines.
• DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy and dignity

Additional Information:

• There are no pets in the household and preferably a non-smoker due to health and breathing sensitivities

• Flexibility is required, including occasional weekend availability
• Hours may increase in the future depending on changes in health needs
