Description

At Marie Curie, we’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our patients and their families. We’re looking for a practical and reliable volunteer to support our Maintenance team in keeping the hospice in excellent condition and looking its best to all visitors - both inside and out.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to the day-to-day upkeep of the building, the grounds, external structures and signage, helping ensure the hospice remains a comfortable and functional space for everyone.

Availability: 4 hours per week

Time: Thursdays or Fridays between 9am and 4pm

Location: Marie Curie Hospice, Marsh Lane Solihull West Midlands B91 2PQ

Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age

 

What you’ll do

  • Assist with maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the hospice
  • Assist with setting up or clearing areas where needed
  • Move furniture, equipment, supplies and stock
  • Support with routine collections or errands
  • Maintain a tidy and safe environment across all areas
