Job Summary

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit experienced Health care assistants to join our Brand-new Bank Team. We are looking for caregivers to work across the following specialties:

  • Neuro Rehabilitation
  • Neuro Spinal
  • AAU
  • Orthopaedics
  • Digestive diseases
  • Heart, vascular and thoracic

The flexible nature of temporary work on the Bank at Cleveland Clinic London is an excellent choice for a huge variety of people and circumstances. Whether you are looking for something to fit around education or around family and other commitments, the opportunities are vast with the staff bank.

We have shifts available on the following patterns:

Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000 

Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800 

Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

Shifts available across departments and CCL sites such as ICU, AAU, Cardiac Thoracic and digestive disease, Neuro and Orthopaedics.

What will your duties include?

  • Following CCL quality standard when caring our patient care.
  • Carrying out tasks such as taking and recording basic observations, assist patient with hygiene, nutritional requirements, perform tests such as urinalysis, Blood glucose etc, working in a manner that promotes privacy and dignity
  • Notify nursing caregivers of changes/concerns in patients’ condition.
  • Support Caregivers to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors following the guidelines of risk management.

  

What we need from you?

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate
  • Recent experience as a HCA in an acute hospital setting
  • Good communication and organisational skills
